In August 2008, the Welsh Hills School Board of Trustees adopted a long range Financial and Development Plan that includes the establishment and continued growth of an Endowment Fund for the school. Endowment Funds allow the school to generate income of its own and to create a fiscal cushion for the school for leaner years.
Goal: $250,000 (annual goal)
Sources: Corporations, businesses, and Welsh Hills supporters in Licking County and beyond, asking for donations of $5,000-$100,000 each, or more if possible. We also hope to leverage WHS supporters who work for employers that have a matching funds program for non-profits.
How can you help? Parents and Welsh Hills School supporters in the community can help by making connections with the largest foundations and corporations, as well as continue building our network of school supporters who care about the long term health of Welsh Hills School as an invaluable resource for families and their children in our area for years to come.
For more information or to discuss your support for the Welsh Hills Endowment Fund, please contact Laura Brown, Head of School (740-522-2020 ext 30, or email).
