Each Fall, Welsh Hills School engages in an Annual Giving Campaign. This is a critical part of our annual operating budget and helps to fund the “gap” between the actual cost of the wonderful, rich education provided to WHS students and the tuition and fees received. Annual Giving is crucial to the success of this school and its programs.
The Board of Trustees establishes the annual goal and leads the campaign, reaching out to all Welsh Hills families, community members, and other friends of the school.
We rely on 100% participation of our Welsh Hills families
in order to make this a successful campaign. We understand that some families are in a position to give more than others, but ask that all of our families consider how they can participate.

Annual Fund Helps Families, Critical to Welsh Hills:
As an independent school, Welsh Hills is not supported by public monies or religious subsidies. We are independent in finance as well as governance. To operate, the school charges tuition and raises money. Tuition covers less than 80% of the annual operating budget.
If we were to raise tuition to meet all costs, many families would be unable to send their children to our school. We choose to make the Welsh Hills School experience available to as many children as possible and to educate the entire community to be respectful and responsible citizens. We balance our budget by raising money from all people in the community who are committed to our mission.
